Basketball Coaching | Top Basketball Plays for Zone Offense | Tom Izzo Michigan State Zone Set Play | Brandon Rosenthal

Written by Coach Peterman

I have coached at the NCAA Division 2 (Southwestern Oklahoma State University), NAIA (USAO), and JUCO Levels (Blinn College and Carl Albert State College) as well as high school. I just felt that fellow coaches especially young coaches need to constantly work on their “game”. Just like the basketball players that we coach. We as coaches need to improve ourselves. That is my story and why I do this blog.

Tom Izzo is the master of  Zone Offense Set Plays in the Basketball Coaching Profession. If you want to learn a new wrinkle on zone offense then you need to check out Tom Izzo and the Michigan State University basketball games.  You will fill up your basketball playbooks with basketball coaching material when you watch Tom Izzo coach.

Brandon Rosenthal’s Daily Chalkboard has a Tom Izzo Zone Set Play from the Michigan State University today that is designed for Zone Offense.  Brandon  is an graduate assistant at St. Edward’s University  in Texas and does a  great job with his basketball diagrams.  I think that you will enjoy  his work.
