Princeton Offense Entries | Chin Samford Entry | Princeton Offense Playbook

Written by Coach Peterman

I have coached at the NCAA Division 2 (Southwestern Oklahoma State University), NAIA (USAO), and JUCO Levels (Blinn College and Carl Albert State College) as well as high school. I just felt that fellow coaches especially young coaches need to constantly work on their “game”. Just like the basketball players that we coach. We as coaches need to improve ourselves. That is my story and why I do this blog.

Princeton Offense Entries | Chin Samford Entry

I have really been impressed with Coach Stephen Dale’s Princeton Offense Hooptalk.  He is the assistant varsity boys basketball coach at University High School in Baton Rouge, LA (on the campus of LSU).  I know that you are going to love this new segment on  the Chin Samford Entry.

Make sure that you check out Today’s edition of Basketball Plays on Chin Samford Entry.

“Chin Samford Entry”
This entry can be run as a counter to the traditional “Chin” entry.  Instead of the guard setting a backscreen, or “chin” screen for the post to reverse the offense, the post sets a downscreen for the guard.  This entry can be effective against teams that have your offense well-scouted and may look to anticipate certain actions.
