The Mike Jones DeMatha Catholic High School Clinic Notes give you an inside look at one of the top High School Programs in the nation. You will learn how to put in a pressure offensive and defensive philosophy that will attack any team. They use the strength and conditioning drills from one of the nation’s best conditioning coaches in Alan Stein. You will get an inside look on how Coach Jones who is a former DeMatha player and assistant coach under basketball hall of famer Morgan Wootten did things.

The drills that Coach Jones uses add accountability and competitiveness to every basketball drill you do! He starts practice with aggressive full court drills that include a time goal for accountability.

The Mike Jones DeMatha Catholic High School Notes will show you his offensive philosophy on how to attack half court and full court man defense. He likes to use a lot of ball screens and back screens from his flex offense to put the defense into a disadvantage and get great angles to look at high / low entries into the post. He believes in using motion continuity principles that include flex cuts to get quick scoring lay-ups.

DeMatha’s uptempo offense creates a transition from one phase of offense into another without stopping to reset the players. They push the ball up the court with quick passes. They also look at quick decision making against defensive pressure.
