Complete breakdown on how Robert Morris beat Kentucky by Tim Springer

Written by Coach Peterman

I have coached at the NCAA Division 2 (Southwestern Oklahoma State University), NAIA (USAO), and JUCO Levels (Blinn College and Carl Albert State College) as well as high school. I just felt that fellow coaches especially young coaches need to constantly work on their “game”. Just like the basketball players that we coach. We as coaches need to improve ourselves. That is my story and why I do this blog.

Today’s basketball plays are from Tim Springer.  He has done a complete breakdown on how Robert Morris beat the defending National Champions (Kentucky).  It’s  a great description of how that they did it and you can learn a lot from it.  It also gives you an idea of what Coach Springer’s two new playbooks look like.

Since arriving in San Antonio, Coach Springer has helped several
Middle school and high school programs reach the district finals. He is
currently the Girls Varsity Basketball Coach at Castle Hills First
Baptist School. In 2011, Coach Springer led the CH Eagles to the Tapps
1A Regionals and was nominated for 1A Coach of the Year.  He has worked with D1, international and WNBA players.
