Bobby Knight basketball coaching philosophy and more…

Written by Coach Peterman

I have coached at the NCAA Division 2 (Southwestern Oklahoma State University), NAIA (USAO), and JUCO Levels (Blinn College and Carl Albert State College) as well as high school. I just felt that fellow coaches especially young coaches need to constantly work on their “game”. Just like the basketball players that we coach. We as coaches need to improve ourselves. That is my story and why I do this blog.

In the volume 5 of the World’s Greatest Collection of Basketball Coaching Clinic Notes you will find the best source of information on Bobby Knight basketball coaching philosophy, and not only this. Bobby Knight is one of the best college coaches ever and many of the basketball plays used by all professional coaches right now derive from his personal playbook. Entering his basketball coaching philosophy you can find a huge number of ideas on how to structure your own basketball coaching program, plus some great plays to organize your offense.

Also, in the volume 5 you will find clinic notes from coach Jim Calhoun when Connecticut Huskies, his team, won the national championship. Coach Calhoun’s offense have been really innovative, and having a good glance inside his playbook can help you both improve your own basketball coaching style and cope with many of your opponents’ offensive plays.

Late plays from the top NBA coaches are another part of the World’s Greatest Collection of Basketball Coaching Clinic Notes, vol. 5. Late plays are crucial to win close games and having the best NBA coaches presenting their late games can help you win such games.
