I just felt that fellow coaches especially young coaches need to constantly work on their “game”. Just like the basketball players that we coach. We as coaches need to improve ourselves. Thanks to members of the Basketball Coaching Community, I was able to go to the OKC Thunder vs. Phoenix Suns game this past weds. The Phoenix Suns were dealt their first loss since coming back from the All-Star break on Wednesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder 115-104. I was extremely impressed with their transition game, because they beat the OKC Thunder down the floor for easy baskets all night long. You can tell that they know their basketball plays extremely well.

Marcin Gortat was almost unstoppable all night long. He had 28 points and 11 rebounds against the OKC Thunder for a career night. They ran the pick and roll to perfection. Steve Nash ran their basketball plays over and over again all night long. Alvin Gentry learn his basketball coaching skills from Mike D’Antoni. I thought that he is doing a great job on offense.
