I have coached at the NCAA Division 2 (Southwestern Oklahoma State University), NAIA (USAO), and JUCO Levels (Blinn College and Carl Albert State College) as well as high school. I just felt that fellow coaches especially young coaches need to constantly work on their “game”. Just like the basketball players that we coach. We as coaches need to improve ourselves. That is my story and why I do this blog.



This playbook is a collection of plays I have gathered from watching hundreds of international games for the past 8 years. You will find plays from national teams such as Spain, Lithuania, France, and Argentina. There are also plays from Euroleague powerhouses such as Olympiacos, Regal FC Barcelona, CSKA, and Real Madrid. Sections include catch and shoot plays, post up plays, pick and roll plays, sideline out of bounds, as well as baseline out of bounds.

Many of the offensive plays and sets employed in international play differ from the way the game is played here in the US.

You can exploit these differences by running international plays that will confuse and confound defenses with plays they’ve never seen before.

Plays are separated into sections so you can pick out exactly you’re your team needs: catch and shoot plays, post up plays, pick and roll plays, sideline out of bounds, and baseline out of bounds plays
