NCAA March Madness Playbook Free Download

Written by Coach Peterman

I have coached at the NCAA Division 2 (Southwestern Oklahoma State University), NAIA (USAO), and JUCO Levels (Blinn College and Carl Albert State College) as well as high school. I just felt that fellow coaches especially young coaches need to constantly work on their “game”. Just like the basketball players that we coach. We as coaches need to improve ourselves. That is my story and why I do this blog.

NCAA March Madness Playbook Free Download

This NCAA March Madness Playbook is a free download from the people at Fast Model Sports. Fast Model Sports is the software company that I use to compile my playbooks and have for the past 8 years. This NCAA March Madness Playbook covers 68 teams that entered the tournament, 32 teams gained automatic entry by winning their conference tournament, and the remaining 36 teams were awarded an at-large bid by the selection committee. Teams that receive an at-large berth didn’t win their conference championship, but had their entire season analyzed to determine whether or not they deserved to be in the NCAA March Madness Tournament.

The Duke Blue Devils won the NCAA March Madness Tournament, but there were differing opinions of who would win it when the tournament started. The University of Kentucky Wildcats were the heavy favorite to win the title, because they entered the final month of the regular season play as the only undefeated team in the nation. The Wildcats roster sported three potential lottery picks in the 2015 NBA Draft and a few players that could be playing professional hoops somewhere next year. Some people think that the biggest shock of the NCAA March Madness Tournament was that Kentucky got beaten by the Wisconsin Badgers.

The NCAA March Madness Tournament winner was the Duke Blue Devils and they had Jahil Okafor, the projected top pick in the 2015 NBA Draft. It was his first year to be playing college basketball, but Okafor had already proven his raw talent by averaging 18 points and 9.1 rebounds a game. My favorite player of the NCAA March Madness tournament was Frank Kaminsky from Wisconsin. The highly skilled big man took the Wisconsin Badgers to the NCAA March Madness Final Four and should have beaten Duke in my opinion.

A HUGE Thank You to the people at Fast Model Sports for putting out this NCAA March Madness Playbook.
