France ran a number of Transition Curl Offense in their Championship Game match-up against Lithuania looking to isolate Diaw in the post. This was a nice set run with a twist as the 5 man sets a timed screen-the-screener action on 2 who reading the defense curls into the lane for a short pull-up jumper. France played so well together and got contributions from everyone in their Offense during their Championship run. This Transition Curl Offense was very successful.

France beat Lithuania 80-66 on Sunday, two years after losing the final to Spain. Coach Vincent Collet initially took charge on a four-year contract in 2009, and will now lead the team until at least the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. Coach Vincent Collet did a great job running the transition curl offense.
Three-time NBA champion Tony Parker was France’s inspiration and was voted the tournament’s MVP. During the Eurobasketball championships, Tony Parker was the best player on the basketball court. He didn’t play well in the championship game, but he got a win. Tony Parker was very loyal to the French national team for years and has commented that a European championship was something he really wanted on his resume.
