Wheel Set Play
This play is a dribble entry into Marquette’s wheel offense (flare screen / down screen offense). The play starts with a dribble handoff exchange between 1 and 2 on the right side of the floor. On the exchange, 4 moves down to the left block and 5 moves up to the right elbow. Once 2 passes the ball to 3, the wheel can start with 2 flaring off of 5 and 1 cutting off of 4’s screen at the left block. The offense can continue whether the ball is passed to 1 or 2. If the ball is passed to 2, 4 would move up to be the flare screener and 5 would move down. The action would continue as normal if the ball is passed to 2.
