NABC Newsletter – November

The playbook and newsletter feature six BLOB plays featured in a previous clinic from NABC International Committee Chair Alan Lambert. The BLOB plays are designed to take advantage of match-ups and scoring situations.

NABC International November Playbook – Fist Lob

1 screens for 5 who cuts to the rim looking for a lob. If the lob isn’t there, 1 cuts to the wing and gets the ball. 1 can then drive and kick or 3 can cut off of a single/double option for a shot.

NABC International Newsletter Playbook – Fist Special

1 screens x2 in the lane as 2 cuts to the corner for a shot. If x1 jumps to the corner, 1 slips to the rim for an easy lay-up.

NABC International November Playbook – Fist Squeeze

1 cuts to the corner off of a screen from 4 and 5. If x4 jumps to the corner, 4 slips to the rim for a dunk or lay-up.

NABC International November Playbook – Double Stagger Post ISO

4 cuts to the corner off of a screen from 5. 2 does the same on the other side. 1 then cuts up to the perimeter and gets the pass from 4. 4 and 5 screen for 2 who cuts to the corner for a shot. If the shot isn’t there, 5 flashes hi to the elbow for a hi/lo look inside to 4.

NABC International November Playbook – 4 Man Pick N Pop Back-Screen

2 cuts to the wing and gets the ball. 4 sets a screen for 2 then pops to the short corner. 1 sets a back-screen for 4 who cuts to the rim.

NABC International November Playbook – 5 Man Pick N Pop Back-Screen

This play is just like the previous one, but 5 instead makes the ball-screen/pop/back-screen.
