Tedi Yaghoubian is a head basketball coach at Northern Suburbs Basketball Association in Sydney Australia – currently coaching Men’s Under 18 representative squad. Last year the Norths Bears won the metropolitan championship and were runners-up at the NSW State Shied Tournament. Coach Yaghoubian’s playing experience includes representative basketball for Norths Bears State League Division 1 team as well as many years of playing at club level.

Earlier in the week I posted some blob actions from Duke Coach Mike Krzyzewski that he has been using at Duke and team USA for quite a while. In addition to those sets, below you will find 6 Mike Krzyzewski Duke Blue Devils Regular Slob Series. With variations out of the same set these actions are hard to scout and enables Duke to take advantage of different match-up scenarios. These actions allow for driving opportunities for playmaking guards, open shots for shooters and post-up isolations for bigs. Coach K has made tweaks to these sets every year depending on the personnel on the roster.

As an example, “Regular 3” was run often times for Kyle Singler to have him isolated and to take advantage of his size in the post against smaller perimeter players. Last year “Regular 2” was a common action run by Duke from SLOB to take advantage of Jahlil Okafor inside.
