Marty Simmons Evansville Purple Aces Box Set Play by Dana Beszczynski

This is a Box Set action run by the Marty Simmons Evansville Purple Aces from the Missouri Valley Conference one of the most competitive conferences in the country which nobody talks about.
Head Coach Marty Simmons was one of the best players in Evansville history and he now enters his 9th year as Head Coach of the program. In 2015, Simmons coached the Aces to a record of 24-12 and the CIT Championship.

The Marty Simmons Evansville Purple Aces were in a defensive battle that came down to the final shot, but UNI was able to hang on for a 54-52 win over the Univeristy of Evansville men’s basketball team on saturday afternoon.

Evansville (23-8, 12-6 MVC) have been great all year and for the last four years. Their guys were well prepared for the game, and they knew if would be a grind it out game. They got 15 points off turnovers in the first half and that was the difference. The University of Evansville has it’s eyes on March Madness. The Aces finished the regular season in a tie with Illinois State.

The Marty Simmons Evansville Purple Aces have their sights on the second seed at their conference tournament. They split with UNI and the tiebreaker will determined by the RPI according to the Jim Sukup RPI Report. UE began the day with an RPI of 81 while Illinois State, who fell to Wichita State on Saturday, was 105.

The Evansville Purple Aces have 12 juniors and seniors. They are destined for a run in their conference tourney with that amount of experience. I think that you will love this box set play that was drawn up by Dana Beszczynski.

Coach Dana Beszczynski has been one of my best contributors the past three years and has several playbooks that you should check out in our store. He does an excellent job scouting for his professional team.
