1-4 High Point Over
This play starts with a pass to the high post and an immediate back cut to the rim and out to the corner by the strong side guard (2 in the diagram). After 2 has cut, 1 cuts around 5 looking for a handoff or quick pass back if he is open. This action can be hard to defend since 5 still has his dribble and the right side of the floor is cleared out for 1 to make a play. If that isn’t open, 4 screens out for 3 who cuts around the screen into a dribble handoff from 5.
