BLOB Box Stagger
This baseline out-of-bounds play starts in a box set with the point guard throwing the ball in. 5 and 3 screen for 2 (who is on the weak side elbow). 2 cuts to the wing or corner to get open for a shot. On the weak side, 4 steps in to set a flare screen for 3. As x3 shows on the cut by 2, 3 may be open for a shot on the opposite side of the floor. If x4 has to help on 3’s cut, 4 may be open for a slip to the rim. The video shows two times that the Hokies scored off of this play.
