I just felt that fellow coaches especially young coaches need to constantly work on their “game”. Just like the basketball players that we coach. We as coaches need to improve ourselves. Billy Donovan Florida Gators Ball Screen Motion Offense by Dana Beszczynski

The Florida Gators do a very good job running their half court Ball Screen Motion offense. With good screening angles, strong basket cuts, and good spacing for kick-out passes, the Gators are able too breakdown defenses with their quickness on the perimeter and the strength of their inside game.

Coach Donovan does a good job adjusting his sets during the course of the game giving his team the best chance to get high percentage shots from their half court offenses. The Gators have started the season with a number of suspensions and questions marks, but once everyone is eligible, this Gator team will be exciting to watch in the offensive system of Billy Donovan. The Ball Screen Motion Offense gets them the right shots.

Coach Billy Donovan is still fiery, competitive, relentless just like he has been for 18 seasons. Coach Billy Donovan was so driven early on by wantin to be successful. He wanted to win title and championships, but he found out that it is ultimately the relationships you have in your life and how genuine they are that means the most. Billy Donovan has been at the University of Florida for 18 years now and has built a Hall of Fame resume in the meantime. Billy Donovan has run the Ball Screen Motion Offense for most of his 18 years.

Coach Beszczynski brings over twenty years of basketball coaching experience to Men’s Basketball HoopScoop. To date, he has worked at all levels of basketball, from High School and from the Collegiate Ranks to the Professional level in Europe. As a leader, Coach Beszczynski emphasizes that his program is built on the principles of hard work, dedication, and no one person is more important than the team. Coach Beszczynski has a very diverse coaching background. He is known for his individual development of post players, scouting & film breakdown, motivation, and game preparation.
