Best Baseline Out of Bounds Play Coaches

Written by Coach Peterman

I have coached at the NCAA Division 2 (Southwestern Oklahoma State University), NAIA (USAO), and JUCO Levels (Blinn College and Carl Albert State College) as well as high school. I just felt that fellow coaches especially young coaches need to constantly work on their “game”. Just like the basketball players that we coach. We as coaches need to improve ourselves. Best Baseline Out of Bounds Play Coaches

I hope all is well with the season fast approaching. Up here at U-Maine, we are about 2 weeks into official practice as we gear up for our season opener (Saturday, November 15th at Butler). Below you will find several X’s and O’s links as well as some general coaching resources. Good luck with the start of your season!

My personal project for the month of September was looking at teams that scored at a high rate on their baseline out of bounds plays. – Belmont operates completely out of a 4 Flat look:

– The Dallas Mavericks run everything from a triple stack:

I really appreciate all the work that Zak Boisvert has done here. He was one of my first basketball coaching contributors to work his way up to NCAA Divison 1. He has an exceptional work ethic. He is now an NCAA Division 1 Assistant Coach at the University of Maine.
