Basketball Contributors wanted

Written by Coach Peterman

I have coached at the NCAA Division 2 (Southwestern Oklahoma State University), NAIA (USAO), and JUCO Levels (Blinn College and Carl Albert State College) as well as high school. I just felt that fellow coaches especially young coaches need to constantly work on their “game”. Just like the basketball players that we coach. We as coaches need to improve ourselves. That is my story and why I do this blog.

Coaches,

I am looking for basketball contributors for my website. If you would like to share your basketball insights with our other coaches then please let me know. Also if you are a young aspiring coach that is looking to get to the NCAA Division 1 level then I can offer you what you need. Exposure is the key! It’s not who you know, but who knows you!!!

I had 6 basketball contributors land full-time college basketball jobs last year. Four people made it to the NCAA Division 1 Level, one at the Junior College Level, and another at the NCAA D3 level. The first question that most coaches ask is: “What do I have to do?” You are going to have to work. Unless you are tied to a really major college coach then it’s going to be tough, but not impossible.

Exposure will help you. I have had 12-15 coaches achieve their dreams by being a basketball contributor.

Here is what I am looking from our basketball contributors:

Minimum two posts a week (300 word articles) They can be over anything basketball coaching related that will help our coaches out. Basketball Plays, Drills, Clinic Notes, How to run a program, etc. Anything that you are passionate about.

Diagrams and video clips are always useful.

I will need a head shot photo, a short bio, and your twitter information.

It’s all up to you to make your dreams possible, but nothing in this life is for free. You will have to work hard to make this happen. I just know that I have helped coaches into the NBA, NCAA, JUCO, and NAIA using this method. It could work for you.
