Basketball Coaching Dvd Review: Scoring in Transition by Lason Perkins

Written by Coach Peterman

I have coached at the NCAA Division 2 (Southwestern Oklahoma State University), NAIA (USAO), and JUCO Levels (Blinn College and Carl Albert State College) as well as high school. I just felt that fellow coaches especially young coaches need to constantly work on their “game”. Just like the basketball players that we coach. We as coaches need to improve ourselves. That is my story and why I do this blog.

Coaches,
I had the opportunity to view “Scoring in Transition” by Lason Perkins and FullCourt Productions. I must say that I am really impressed by FullCourt Productions. The video is clear and they use tons of angles, slow motion on the plays, chalkboard talks, and great sound.
I posted the little card that they send in the dvd for you to see. You will notice that this is all that Coach Perkins covers in his dvd. I was blown away with all the information that was presented in the dvd. I would give this dvd a 5 out of 5. I have watched hundreds of dvds from all coaches and I think that Coach Perkin’s dvd gives you the most information on the transition game in the market.
I just really liked how he covers all the details in the transition game. If you are a beginning coach or a veteran coach. You can pick something up out of this dvd. You need to go to their website: www.basketballsense.com and look at some of their items. I would recommend this dvd to anyone.
