This offense is fundamental for all youth teams. Coach Brey presents here the way the Notre Dame implements it. With the ball on top the players are working in screening pairs. The two post players are working together with the perimeter players to get open. These screens can be a variety of different angles. Coach Brey encourages his players to get to different spots on the floor to receive screens. Once they get the ball to the entry (the full line extended) the perimeter players work together as the bigs do.

In these notes, coach Brey also discussess why he prefers the 3 out 2 in motion offense. He also presents his initial alignment, and the audibles the team utilizes during the play. But that’s not all. You will also find information on the drills they use both to teach the offense and for skill development.
