Dunlap apps are just tremendous.
Best content I’ve come across in a while. Dunlap is the best teacher, consider my wording, teacher (not coach) I’ve come across. He walks you through his methodology of teaching in “10 Points for Better Coaching” and then you get to see that very same methodology on full display in the “Shell Drill on Steroids” and in “Organized Anarchy.”
There’s nothing cookie-cutter about what Dunlap talks about in these 3 apps. All new, refreshing ideas that really stimulate your thoughts about the game. Regardless of whether you agree with his defensive transition theories, that app really makes you sit and re-assess what your beliefs are.
Beyond the tremendous content, the pricing structure that you and Next Level Hoops put together. 3 apps delivered immediately for 12 dollars total? Compared to $120 in DVD purchases? No brainer.
Only gripe I have is the size of the app doesn’t allow me to have more than 1 at the same time on my phone.

He brought a whole new perspective to my concept of “D-Trans.” He emphasizes the seven keys for defensive transition and demonstrates effective ways to teach these concepts. I think that these two dvds are some of the best on the market today. I was at the filming of both of these projects and got to talk with Coach Dunlap. I believe that he is one of the better teachers of the game. He is a Pete Newell disciple and has an incredible basketball mind.
As a young coach, I was able to listen to him at the Final Four with Coach Newell present. I recruited against him and watched his teams play. This guy is the entire package. That is why I got him and Level X Hoops together.
The “10 points to better coaching” was my brainchild and I don’t think that there is enough professional development stuff for coaches out there. It’s $19.95.
The “Defensive Transition” Dvd is freaking awesome! Talk about one of the HUGE aspects of the game today. It’s $29.95
These two dvds weren’t filmed in a clinic setting. It was done like a true “Hollywood” production. You can’t compare other dvds to these…. I seen it first hand. I have been to all the Nike Clinics and seen the videos. Level X Hoops isn’t doing “re-tread” material for you. They are cutting edge.
The film crew are true professional camera men from Hollywood and the Director use to work at Disney Films. They put out a class product here. You aren’t paying $40 and seeing a poorly edited dvd here.

- He has led the Renegades to the first four conference championships in school history. The year prior to his arrival, Ohlone won only 1 league game.
- His teams have won 20 + games in eight of his nine seasons at Ohlone.
- He spent three years at NCAA Division II Metro State College in Denver. Metro went 87-15, won a National Championship, was National Runner up, and won three league titles. He worked for two-time NABC National Coach of the Year Mike Dunlap, currently Assoc. Head Coach at Oregon.

I got the video and watched it, and all I can say is WOW!!! I must tell you, the “Window’s Reads Drill” appears to be an AASAA drill, because it covers the reads of the driver. I thought the video was excellent, and really covers areas that should emphasized for attacking the rim, getting loose (50/50) balls, and rebounding. That was a great purchase. Now we need an All-Access Fresno City College DVD, covering 3-5 days of their practices.
