IU Southeast Dribble Drive Motion Offense Plays by Andrew Grantz

“Expect what you accept”

This is a quote that I came up with that I think every coach should live by. As coaches, if we accept anything but maximum effort then we should expect to lose games and never become the teams, players, and coaches we are capable of being. For example if a player is getting up shots after practice and is going through the motions, accepting his missed shots or poor form, then he can expect to miss shots during the games. We are what we allow or push ourselves to become. When we accept failure or mistakes in our lives then we can expect to be less than we can be.

I have been very fortunate to work for a former NCAA champion, Wiley Brown, at IU Southeast. I have learned how much intensity is needed daily from a coaching staff. We both agree that to be succesful in basketball, and life, it is our own responsibilty to make things happen and not wait for something to come our way. For this reason we are known as an attacking basketball team that never allows our opponents to relax. Championship Productions and I have recently released 2 DVD’s focusing on these attacking principles. I want to provide each coach that visits this website with many different ideas of how you can constantly attack your opponent. Below are some plays that we ran last season that helped us win our 5th straight conference title.

BIO- I have spent 4 years coaching at the high school level. I was a coach for Team Southern Indiana AAU. This past season I was an assistant at Indiana University Southeast. I have 2 DVD’s with Championship Productions. Installing the Dribble Drive Motion Offense, and Full Court Trapping System and Breakdown Drills. I have also completed a DVD Showcasing my own offense, The 4 Out 1 In Attack and React Offense, that will be released soon.
