Bruce Pearl was known for his ability to attack defenses at Tennessee. Coach Pearl breaks down the volunteer early offense piece by piece. This early offense takes advantage of all the defensive decisions and calls. He will show you two high pick and roll options based on the defense. You will be shown a high screen and roll for the post creating an inside seal opportunity for the post. The other play is a high screen and pop play. Both options will flow into any continuity half court offense.
The baseline out of bounds plays will come from a 1-4 set. Execution of this OB series will produce a lob lay-up, switch seal, hi/low seal, high/low back screen and post pin. All these options have down screens and slip screens in them.
