Emerald Ridge Stanley Baseline Out of Bounds Play

Mis-direction is one of the best concepts to use when designing sets for your players.  Take this BOB for example, we call it shooter when what we really want to get is a drive for a lay up or foul.

start in a box set, the 3 is your driver, the 2 is your best shooter. The 5 and the 4 move up to set screens for the 1 and the 3, we then enter the ball to the 3.

the 5 and the 4 will now come together to form an elevator screen for the 2 to run through, however this is a fake action.

The 3 must be taught to sell the pass to the 2 but the look is the 3 driving the ball baseline as the defense will be flattened out.  We have the 1 re locate to the corner so we can get rift three pointers if they help from the weak side.
