Basketball Set Plays | Jay Wright Villanova Wildcats and Roy Williams UNC Tarheels National Championship Game

The Jay Wright Villanova Wildcats and Roy Williams UNC Tarheels National Championship Game X’s and O’s are something that you need to add to your basketball playbook. The Jay Wright Villanova Wildcats are going to come up in NBA Circles and it’s just starting to happen with Sam Hinkle stepping down and Brett Brown won’t be far behind him.

Brett Brown has done his best with what the Philadelphia 76’ers have given him. The Jay Wright Villanova Wildcats did their best with what their coach did for them. Does Jay Wright have a future in the NBA?

Brett Brown hasn’t been fired and I wouldn’t ever wish that on anyone. He was given an extension through 2019, but Brown’s record hasn’t been good at all. Something is going to snap with the Sixers. They can’t be this bad for so long with out the fans speaking out at the ticket booth.

Brown had the task of fitting Nerlens Noel and Jahil Okafor into the same lineup, even though they both play the same postion. That combinations isn’t going to work. The have options like trading Okafor for maxium value They can trade Noel for high value, but would trading them help anyone?

Jay Wright is in a win-win situation if the Philadelphia Sixers come calling. He doesn’t have to leave his home. They will probably match what the OKC Thunder did with Billy Donovan. It would be in the Six million dollar range and it would be hard for Villanova to keep him. If he would take the Sixers job and he struggles for three years. He would still be young enough to be the hottest candidate for the next mega-time college coaching job.

Jerry Colangelo insists that the Sixers are going to spend heavily on free agents. But if they want to invest in coaching, they would have their ideal candidate. And he often works in a locker room a few feet down the hall. Just things to think about.
